Welcome to Melbourne Rugby Club

Melbourne is a friendly rugby club with 3 senior teams and 13 junior sides including 2 girls teams. We are based in lovely countryside in South Derbyshire. We play for fun, but still try to win our respective leagues. We have big plans for the next few years with the opening of new pitches at Cockshut Lane and plans for a clubhouse next year.

A club house for the junior sides has been opened at Chellaston School where they play on a Sunday morning. There is a strong social side to Melbourne Rugby Club which is as the heart of the local community. New players of all ages and ability are always welcome..
