Melbourne started the season with a tour match against a touting side from London, the Match was played in 4 quarters with regular team changes. 

Match Report

Captain Martin Barr sat the game out to watch the players and Mace Ref's.

It was a good work out for the team and there was a good turn out with some new faces, Gavin and Kai, and some old ones returning Dave Cox. Some players also looked considerably thinnner than last year, notably Pete Welsh, Rich Bennett and Nigel Breakwell.

Hopefully the match sorted a few selection issues for games ahead,

Match was played in a good spirit and the Alma hosted the post match entertainment and laid on top food and atmoshpere, it was nice to see 40 naked men in the carpark of the pub by 8:30 and Nate Dog being sick.
