We went with 14 men but Ashby thought that they were playing our 1st team and therefore fielded their 1sts. Two of our team went home so we played with 12 men against 14. 

Match Report

They kicked off and put 4 tries past us in 15 minutes. The whole game was played with untested scrums, but our tackling was good. Mark Hudson showed some good moves and good tackling. Jake Oxspring came in to scrum half 10 mins from half time. Jake got the ball, ran it 20 yards to score a good try and Pez got the conversion.

In the second half we won some of their line outs. Jake got the ball from the ruck and passed the ball inside to Pez who scored inside the post - even with a dislocated finger.

We all played well against a superior side.
