11 men turn up to play Uttoxeter at home so we had to get two players from them to make up a 13 v 14 a-side game. 

Match Report

We started to kick down hill but we could not hold their back line. We were missing easy tackles and we kept getting out of position and before we knew it we were 30 points down in the first 20 mins, this was really due to the fact that a lot of us were playing out of position and finding it difficult to adjust.

10 mins from half time Goodyear ran past their backline and in to a ruck, then Crippsy came out of the ruck to put the ball down behind the line for a try (his first).

Second half they came back at us again but Holgate showed us how to go forward with Steve Topliss coming on 20 mins from time to make the game 14 v 14 a-side. We put them on their back foot and won a few line outs. The final score was 5 v 75. M.O.M Kevin Holgate .
