Total Hire and Sales Extend their Support of Melbourne Rugby Club Print E-mail

Melbourne Rugby Club is pleased to announce that Total Hire and Sales are to become the club's shirt sponsor for the season 2005 - 2006.
Total Hire and Sales are renowned for their support of Derbyshire teams and already provide assistance to Swarkestone cricket club, Quarndon cricket club and Swanwick cricket club.

Melbourne's chairman Ian Lucas states "without support from sponsors such as Total Hire and Sales we wouldn't be able to continue providing facilities for local rugby enthusiasts, this kind of help is vital and much appreciated".

Melbourne, who run three senior teams and has a large mini and junior section, is a club very much on the up. During the coming season they will move to a new ground with plans for a club house, two pitches and a flood lit training area.

On the playing side the club has appointed a coaching coordinator, Andy Fulton who will oversee a team of specialist coaches. The mini and junior section boasts in excess of 200 children, including a well supported girl's team, the children range in age from seven to seventeen.

Total Hire and Sales have outlets throughout the East Midlands and provide equipment to the construction and engineering industries as well as a range of specialist DIY tools for the home improvement enthusiast.
