Melbourne Rugby Club is a friendly but competitive club, based in South Derbyshire. Many of our players come from Melbourne itself, Chellaston, Shelton Lock, Derby and surrounding villages.
We field three senior teams regularly:

The 1st XV plays in the Midlands 5 East (North) League;

The 2nd XV plays in the Nottinghamshire Security Plus Pennant League Group 2;

The 3rd XV plays friendlies against teams around the East Midlands.
Training
Training takes place twice a week at the pitches on Cockshut Lane, Melbourne:

Newcomers are welcome to come along and get fit and/or join the club.
Get Involved
If you would like to get involved in the playing side of Melbourne RFC, there are two things you can do:
