The
U11's had their xmas bash last saturday 19/12 , visiting Leicester Tigers v
Clermont Auvergne .
40 players and supporters all suitably dressed in xmas fancy dress attended
Welford road. It was an eventful evening with the following highlights
- traditional sing u11's song on the coach, alloette, lady in pink, mighty
mighty melbourne, horses bum..... and others .....!
- pre match banter with the Clermont supporters
- pre match pie & a pint (pies £3.50
each what a rip off)
- Copey in a Pingu outfit (or
was it a snowman?)
- Half time queue for the toilets
- 20-15 victory for Tigers with lots of waving at the Clermont supporters each
time we scored
- Post match banter with Clermont (Tom Brown being presented with their
flag)
- Post Match visit to the Chippy
- Bus sing song home
- Snow / accident hold up on the motorway
- Music by Hughie Davies & the Chunderers .......singing " AND TONIGHTS GOING TO BE A GOOD
NIGHT ....UUUUWWWWHHHHHOOOOO "
The U11's - are indeed Fantastic ambassadors for MELBOURNE RUGBY CLUB
