An amazing 9 players have been chosen from Melbourne Minxes under 15 and under 18 girls rugby sides to play for the East Midlands Regional teams  .Following their appearance before Christmas for the three counties side Notts ,Lincs and Derbyshire a number of girls were  asked to attend a regional trial and have since been selected for regional training at Melton Mowbray leading to games against other regional sides such as Thames Valley, North West and South West .

Both Minxes sides have been improving all season as they play more competitive games. With over 30 girls playing full contact rugby the girls side of the club is going from strength to strength .For girls aged 12 to 18 who might interested in joining the side please contact coach Tim Boyse on 07808 095896
