Clearly a miss match
fixture which we did suggest to the opposition we treat
as a training game by lending us some players to even things up .This offer was
declined and so we played a 10 aside match vs. their squad of 18 players .The
final result was a 43:0 defeat which considering the size and skill
of their players was a respectable score .The Minxes never gave up and
tackle and mauled the opposition as best they could .But with no fresh legs and
a number of knocks the "Lichfield etcetera's" ran in some
excellent try's .We did put one or phases of play together ending with a great
run down the touchline by Katherine Ford our player of the match, but she just
couldn't out run their defence. Bethan Boyse reverted to her old position
as scrum half putting some good pressure on their scrums and Elodie showed them
how to maul .Overall another game another lesson which we will build on and
take to Buxton in two weeks
