1st XV won the League (Midlands 6 NW)
Runners up in NLD Vase losing to Barton
Runners up in Derbyshire Cup losing to R.Royce.

Highlight of the season: Final league game vs Belper wher winner became league Champions and losers came 3rd and subsequently missed out on promotion. Melbourne won 13:7.
